• You must be at least 18 years of age to register
• You must be a Muslim or open to Islamic marriage values
• You must register using your real identity; fake or anonymous profiles are strictly prohibited
• You must be genuinely seeking marriage and not using the platform for any other purpose
• You must not be currently married unless seeking a second marriage where permitted by Islamic law and local legislation

You agree to:

• Approach all interactions with sincerity, respect, and serious matrimonial intent
• Be honest about yourself, your background, and your intentions at all times
• Treat all members with dignity; this is a matter of someone's life and future
• Not lead anyone on or engage in conversations without genuine interest in marriage
• Not make inappropriate, flirtatious, or disrespectful remarks to any member
• Not harass, pressure, or repeatedly contact a member who has not responded
• Not impersonate another person or create a profile on someone else's behalf without their knowledge
• Report any inappropriate behaviour using the reporting tools provided

Remember: behind every profile is a real human being with feelings, family, and faith. Treat others the way you would want your own family members to be treated.

Halal Marriage provides a safe internal messaging system for a reason. We strongly advise all users to:

• Only communicate through the Halal Marriage platform until you are confident of a person's identity and intentions
• Involve a family member (wali/guardian) early in any serious conversation
• Never transfer money to anyone you meet on this platform for any reason
• Report immediately if someone asks you for money, financial help, or personal documents
• Be cautious of anyone who avoids meeting in person with family present, or pushes to move off-platform quickly

The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account removal:

• Creating fake, misleading, or fraudulent profiles
• Uploading photos of someone else or using AI-generated images
• Sharing explicit, inappropriate, or offensive content of any kind
• Using the platform for commercial purposes, advertising, or solicitation
• Scamming or attempting to defraud other members in any way
• Collecting other users' data for any purpose outside of genuine matrimonial interest
• Using automated bots, scripts, or scraping tools on the platform
• Attempting to bypass platform security or access other users' accounts
• Posting content that is racist, sexist, or discriminatory in any form

Specifically, Halal Marriage is not liable for:

• The accuracy of information provided by any user on their profile
• The outcome of any relationship, engagement, or marriage that results from use of this platform
• Any loss, harm, emotional distress, or financial damage arising from interactions between users
• Any information you voluntarily share with another member outside of our platform
• Conduct that occurs off-platform, including in-person meetings arranged via the site

Users engage with each other entirely at their own risk. We strongly recommend involving family members in any matrimonial process, as is the Islamic tradition.

Halal Marriage manually reviews profiles before they go live. However, verification is not a guarantee of a person's identity, character, or suitability as a marriage partner. We encourage users to conduct their own due diligence, involve family, and follow Islamic guidelines in the marriage process.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove any account that violates these Terms & Conditions, without notice. Users may also delete their own account at any time from their account settings.

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email where possible.
